Most of what a training programme spends on is consumable. These are the parts that wear out, get handed round a class, and need replacing before the next cohort.
Training masks
Individually wrapped pocket masks, sold in tens so every student in a class gets their own. The consumable a course runs through fastest.

What is in a BVM training kit
A bag valve mask training system has five parts: the mask that seals to the manikin's face, a one-way patient valve, the squeeze bag that delivers the breath, a reservoir bag, and oxygen tubing. Students learn the assembly as well as the technique, which is why the kits ship as separate components rather than pre-assembled.

Can CPR training equipment be used on a real patient?
No. Everything on this page is training equipment and is labelled for training use only. It is made to be used with manikins in a classroom, not for patient treatment. Clinical resuscitation equipment is a separate category with its own regulatory requirements.
How many CPR masks does a class need?
One per participant is the usual standard, so nobody shares a mask during practice. Our training masks come in packs of ten for that reason. Most instructors keep spares, since masks get lost and damaged faster than the kits do.
What is a BVM and why train with one?
A bag valve mask, sometimes called a manual resuscitator or an Ambu bag, delivers breaths by hand. It takes practice to get a seal on the face and squeeze at the right rate and volume, which is why training versions exist. Learning on a training BVM means the first time you use a real one is not the first time you have held one.
Are the training valves reusable?
The valves are designed to be swapped between participants rather than reused indefinitely by different people. Most programmes change them between cohorts, which is why they are sold in 50 and 100 packs rather than singly.
Do the masks fit adult and child manikins?
Check the size against the manikins you own. Our ten-pack masks measure 4.0 by 5.8 inches and are moulded for adult practice; the BVM kits are supplied with masks sized for adult and child training scenarios. Mask sizing is the most common reason equipment does not work with an existing manikin set.
